About The Guide - how we came about

Fuerteventura Gay Guide is independent gay owned, managed and staffed LGBT community webspace. Re-launched in 2012 after the success of her sister islands  LGBT guide Lanzarote Gay Guide.

Contributing

The basics of this site have been created to give everyone a chance to contribute to guiding other gay travellers to Fuerteventura. If you have a passion for the island, and would like to write an article or contribute regularly please get in touch.

We are working towards translating the guide into other European languages, including Spanish of course! If you would like to help, even a page at a time, we would also love to hear from you.

There are also opportunities for you to upload your photographs to display on the guide pages.

Funding

Google advertising at the top and bottom of each page is the main source of income for Fuerteventura Gay Guide, and the income from the advertising covers the costs of domain name registration, hosting and contributes towards future development of the website. As gay Fuerteventura is a smaller market than the whole island's tourism industry, the income from advertising is minimal.
