Corralejo was the first tourist resort in fuerteventura with it's wonderful views overt to the neighbouring islands of Lobos and the harbour town of Playa Blanca.
With over 20 square km of golden beaches and sand dunes towards the south east of the town, and the only Gay bar on the island, Corralejo is the unofficial gay capital of Fuerteventura and definitely worth a visit.
There is plenty to see and to do in Corralejo, with a market and shopping near to the harbour area, the town center is jammed with cafes, bars and local restaurants no starbucks here, you really are spoilt for choice, with fish direct from the fishermen or fresh fruits and salads from local growers - tomato heaven.
If you looking for some adventure, the 15 km of beaches with a surf board or kite surfing might be your thing - there are instructor schools available for beginners. Or you could just take advantage of one on the best beaches in the Atlantic coast and just simply lay back relax and experience the magic of Fuerteventura.
